1. TK Shop Return/Refund Request
In accordance with the terms and conditions of this Refund and Return Policy and Terms of Service, a complaint may be filed before the TK-Store Guarantee period stipulated in the Terms of Service to request a refund for the purchased goods (“Goods”) and/or a refund service.
The TK-Store Guarantee Service is a service provided by TK-Store at the request of users to help users handle certain issues that may arise during the transaction process. Users may resolve issues privately before, during, or after using the TK-Store Guarantee Service, or contact the relevant local authorities for assistance.
2. Return Request
Complaints are limited to requests for refunds and/or returns in the following circumstances:
● The buyer did not receive the Goods;
● The Goods were defective and/or damaged upon delivery;
● The Goods delivered by the seller did not conform to the specified specifications (e.g., incorrect size, color, etc.);
● The delivered Goods differ significantly from the description provided by the seller in the product listing; or
● After private negotiation with the seller, the seller must send a confirmation letter to TK-Store to confirm the agreement.
Buyer applications must be submitted through the TK-Store mobile application.
Within ten (10) calendar days from the date of the return application.
If legal proceedings have been initiated against the appeal, the appeal may be made to TK-Store with formal notification from the relevant department requesting TK-Store to continue processing such aid funds and to seek formal compensation. TK-Store will determine whether it is necessary to continue processing such aid funds.
3. Preferred Seller Rights
If you are a Preferred Seller, you will receive a separate written notification from TK-Store informing you that you have opted into the TK-Store Preferred Seller Program. If you do not participate in the TK-Store Preferred Seller Program at any time, please notify TikTok Shop in writing; otherwise, you will be deemed to have opted to continue participating in the TK-Store Preferred Seller Program and agreed to any terms and conditions set forth in this Refund and Return Policy. TK-Store may suspend or reinstate a seller's TK-Store Preferred Seller eligibility at any time.
TK Store's decision to approve a refund or return pursuant to Section 2 above is binding on the relevant Preferred Seller. Preferred Sellers agree to comply with and take all necessary measures to enable Buyers to apply for a refund or return approved by TK-Store.
For any refund or return application approved by TK-Store, TK-Store will notify the Seller via email (“Email Notification”) and arrange for the return of the relevant item to be sent to the address provided by the Seller in writing to TK-Store to complete the refund and return process, provided that the address is in the country/region where the relevant item is sold on the website (“Local Address”). If the Seller fails to provide a Local Address for the Returned Item, or fails to receive the Item within a reasonable period (as determined by TK-Store), TK-Store reserves the right to dispose of the Item in any manner it deems appropriate, and the Seller will be deemed to have waived all rights to the Item. If the Preferred Seller has not received the Item, the Seller must notify TikTok Shop within seven (7) business days of receiving the Email Notification (“Notification Period”). Failure to notify TK-Store within the Notification Period will be deemed as receipt of the Item, and the Seller will accept the fact that the Item has been shipped and agree not to raise any objection or dispute regarding the Item. Notwithstanding the foregoing, TK-Store may, at its sole discretion, refuse to return goods for which refunds have been approved or which have been returned to Preferred Sellers, and Preferred Sellers shall be deemed to have waived all rights to the goods.
For any refunds or returns received by TK-Store, if TK-Store refuses to accept them, TK-Store will arrange for the goods to be shipped to the relevant buyer's address in accordance with Section 2 above.
If TK-Store approves any request for a refund or return, the Preferred Seller may contact TK-Store and file a final appeal with supporting evidence. If TK-Store supports the Preferred Seller's appeal, it will decide to pay the seller all or part of the purchase price. The Preferred Seller acknowledges and agrees that TK-Store's decision is binding and undertakes not to bring any legal action or other claims against TK-Store regarding the affiliated company.
4. Rights of Regular Sellers
For the purposes of this Refund and Return Policy, a Regular Seller refers to a seller who is neither a Marketplace Seller nor a Preferred Seller.
When a buyer requests a return and/or a refund from TK-Store, TK-Store will notify the seller in writing. The seller can respond to the buyer by following the steps provided in the written notification from TK-Store. The seller must make the request within the period specified in the written notification (“Specified Period”). If TK-Store does not receive a response from the seller within the Specified Period, TK-Store will continue to evaluate the buyer's request and will issue a supplementary notification to the seller. The seller's response will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and TK-Store will determine at its sole discretion whether the buyer's request is likely to be approved based on the circumstances described by the seller.
5. Returns and Exchanges
To ensure a hassle-free return experience, buyers should ensure that the goods (including any gifts, such as accompanying accessories) are returned to the seller in the condition they were received. We recommend that buyers take photos of the goods upon receipt.
6. Responsibility for Product Shipping and Return Costs
● If the seller makes an unforeseen error (e.g., receiving damaged, defective, or incorrect goods), the seller will bear both the outgoing and receiving shipping costs.
● If the buyer changes their mind, the buyer must obtain the seller's consent before submitting a return request, and the buyer will bear the return shipping costs.
● If the buyer and seller dispute the responsibility for initial and return shipping costs, TK-Store will determine the responsibility at its sole discretion.
For the avoidance of doubt, in any of the above circumstances, if the seller bears the buyer's shipping and return costs, the seller shall also bear the buyer's shipping costs, even if the buyer uses a free shipping coupon to deliver the product.
7. Refund
The buyer will only receive a refund after TK-Store receives confirmation from the seller that the return has been received. If TK-Store does not receive a response from the seller within the specified period, it may refund the corresponding amount to the buyer without further notice to the seller. 8. Communication Between Buyers and Sellers
TK Store encourages users to communicate with each other when problems arise during a transaction. Since TK-Store is a platform for users to conduct transactions, buyers can directly contact sellers to resolve issues related to their purchased goods.
